Antec 450W Watt Power Supply | VP-450

450 W is ample power for a Core i3 build + 1 mATX mobo + 5 fans + 2 sticks DDR3 memory + 1-2 optical drives + 1 low power graphics card. This is the best choice for a basic power supply that isn’t the super cheapo model (read: Antec Basiq). Quiet and compact, with all the connectors I needed for a simple mATX build. Note that it only has 18A output on its dual 12V rails so only very basic graphics cards can be supported.
